The varieties of Energy
Energies of expression at every level and dimensions of our lives, both within and without – reflecting “as within, so without”, “as above, so below”.
Dr. Brené Brown presents excellent, thought provoking, insights of our daily internal (energy) dance in this journey called life. Even more so, I believe she touches aspects of feelings and emotions easily recognized as internal energies (mental-spiritual), and how they express in the physical, external world around us.
As Dr. Brené Brown reminded us, “If you cannot measure it, it doesn’t exist” – The physical state of the World – the external mirrored expressions of energy, are certainly measureable – from government and corporate behavior, to stuck in oil, traffic, global warming, ecological destruction, massively expanding, worldwide, lethal inequality……these are our contemporary, individual and collective, expressions, mirroring our energies, emotions and feelings, back to us.
Studying the ancient historical text about the evolutionary stages of the We and the I (old and new testament), I note that Dr. Brené Brown brings out some of the connections that are missing in this age of 21st century science, wonder, intelligence, wisdom, and understanding.

EVERYbody needs to watch this, and watch it again, and again. And do nothing else, but sit and focus on it, and let what she says just seep into your skin….Don’t try to process it, don’t judge if it applies to you, just….let it seep into you….maybe you want to take notes like I did. Dr. Brown articulates the daily internal dance we each go through in this journey called life…and she does so with insights that will rock your soul, in one way or another. The insights are subtle; they don’t come with an intro of “here is an insight.” Thank you, Dr. Brene Brown! I’m breathing better now…how about you?
